Start up the car Grandmas’ house feels so far Listening to Jay-Z Missing Mr. Weinstein’s class like crazy Brooklyn bound Everyone making loud sounds Crash, boom, bop, bang Many Christmas songs we sang Finally arrive Our presents survived Time for dinner That Mac and Cheese’ was a winner We start on dessert The tiramisu so divine The coffee ice cream so refreshing The cheesecake tastes so fine Finally it is midnight The presents are in sight Tear open the boxes Wrapping paper decorated with foxes Clothes as usual Shirts, pants and socks Having so much fun with my cousins Didn’t even look at the clock Four in the morning Santa didn’t appear All we can do is sleep And wait for next year |
